How do I find items near me?

Use the search bar on the homepage to look for what you're after — a category, an item, or a vendor name. Results show what's nearby first.

How do I contact a vendor about an item?

Open the item or vendor page — each one lists the vendor’s contact details and, where available, a link to get directions to their location.

Can I buy directly through Shop Local Treasure?

Not yet — we're a discovery platform, not a checkout. Any purchase happens directly with the vendor, on their own terms, same as visiting their shop.

How do I list my inventory?

Sign in at the vendor dashboard and add your items — photos, price, and location. It’s free to start, no credit card required.

Can I manage multiple locations?

Yes — add each of your selling locations from the Locations tab in the vendor dashboard, and assign items to the right one.

Can I edit or remove a listing later?

Yes, at any time from the vendor dashboard — update the price, mark it sold, or remove it entirely.

How do I print price tags or labels for my items?

From the mobile app's Inventory tab, tap Select, choose the items you want tags for, then tap Print Labels. You'll get a sheet with a barcode, QR code, item name, and price for each one, ready to share to a printer.

What kind of paper or labels do I need?

Just plain printer paper — no special sticker sheets to buy. On the Print Labels screen, pick the punch size that matches your tag/card lever punch — rectangular (2 x 1.5in or 2.76 x 1.77in) or round floral (1.5in, 2in, or 2.5in) — and labels print sized and spaced for it, ready to punch out after printing instead of cutting with scissors.

Can I print with just a barcode, just a QR code, or both?

Yes — pick Barcode, QR, or Both on the Print Labels screen before sharing or printing.

What happens when someone scans the QR code on an item's label?

It opens that item's public page on shoplocaltreasure.com in their browser — no app install required, works from any phone's camera.

Does label printing work with a dedicated label printer (Dymo, Brother, Zebra)?

Not yet. Labels go through your device's standard share sheet to any AirPrint-compatible printer loaded with plain paper — dedicated thermal label printers aren't supported.

Can I print a label for a storage shelf or bin?

Yes, separately from item labels — open a storage unit from Manage Storage and tap Print / Share Label for a single QR code to stick on the shelf or bin itself.
